I may prepare one MCpbi for you before official distribution. The problem is that nobody know when MC will be available in the market. There is no case available for PBI version yet. If you want have the housing, you should still wait. Let me know your choice :-) Estimated cost for MCpbi is 30 euro + delivery. Where are you from?

Okay, the housing should be designed middle of January. Maybe will not so pretty like for XE but should be functionally as well. I ordered new part of PCBs with cosmetic changes e.g. I changed footprint for DC socket (for the cheaper one) so probably I'll assembly new version for you :-). Do you have S2/X2GS modules? I've a few S2 if you want but in my opinion, X2GS sounds best!

thanks for assembling a new (XL) version for me!

Atm I do have two Midimate compatible interfaces and Midi cables, but I never used them due to lack of a keyboard or a synthesizer. I would be very interested in an S2 or X2GS module, so I can playback the Midi sounds without a keyboard (or synthesizer). Alas, I have absolutely no knowledge about these modules - maybe I can simply buy both from you and then test both to find out which sounds better?

I've only a few DreamBlaster S2, so, the best option for you is to buy both modules from official distribution:

Both modules are pin-table compatible and have different wave tables. X2GS has flexible wave table - you may flash your own but X2GS is double priced than S2... anyway, S2 is good choice too.

I checked more than 5 modules and finally stay with X2GS. But you know... if you never heard other modules, S2 sounds very good :-)
